Will Power held off a valiant effort from Graham Rahal to win Race #1 on Saturday in Detroit. Tony Kanaan finished off the podium in third place. The race had plenty of drama with last year’s winners Simon Pagenaud and Mike Conway falling out of contention early, many different fuel strategies, and controversial race control decisions both with warnings and penalties.
