Scott Dixon’s Team Wins Firestone Pit Stop Award at Barber

Scott Dixon’s Target Chip Ganassi Team has yet again won the Firestone Pit Stop Performance Award, this time at Barber Motorsports Park. This marks the second time in the first 3 races the team has won the award.

After the all the pit stop times were added up the Target Chip Ganassi team had yet again proved that they are a force to be reckoned with this year. The average finishing position for the Firestone Pit Stop Performance Award is holding steady at 3rd place. Even though it is still early it appears that there is beginning to be a correlation between the winner and there finishing position, however the sample size is still unbelievably low at this time. In addition to the finishing position we have begun looking at the starting position to look at whether the winner is moving forward or backward during the race.
